Our prime offering, Milliken carpet tile is one of the most environmentally advanced products in the industry. Here are a number of reasons why Milliken Carpet Tile benefits both you and the environment.
Flexibility:
The 80/20 rule: 80% of the wear is on 20% of the carpet. By using carpet tile the areas (20%) which are the greatest concern can be managed much easier by:
- Design flexibility: take advantage of the flexibility during the original design process or after the carpet tile has been through its first lifecycle. Working creatively with the 20% by coordinating products and colors.
- Relocate carpet tile to other areas within facilities. Hewlett Packard & Intel are taking advantage of this flexibility today!
- Selective rotation and replacement. Keeping the customer happy with their carpet which prolongs the lifecycle, reducing the impact on our natural resources.
- Releasable adhesive is used to install carpet tile. The adhesive will be effective for many years as long as it does not get dirty. This eliminates the need to produce adhesive with each new installation and eliminates issues regarding Indoor Air Quality.
Product Quality:
- Technology allows Milliken to lower face weights without jeopardizing performance, thus reducing the amount of natural resources it takes to manufacture carpet tile.
- Higher quality fiber with improved stain resistance helps prolong the carpet's first and second life.
- Higher Fiber Twist (3½) creates a more resilient, longer lasting carpet. Carpet will not crush or mat as quickly.

- No PVC - PVC can create Indoor Air Quality problems by reacting with existing floor conditions such as old adhesives or underlayments.
- EverWher is an inert resin which will not react with any floor condition. Eliminating the need for additional floor prep or harsh chemicals to strip the floor.
- 100% Recyclable.
- Comfort Plus® Cushion Back
- Shock Absorber like effect reduces fiber crushing. Studies show that Comfort Plus can increase the life of carpet by 30 percent.
- Thermal Barrier, insulates the office reducing energy consumption.
- Use Floor Patch is greatly reduced during installation. Small cracks and elevation changes are absorbed by the cushion.
