Most commercial carpet is made from Nylon, Olefin, or Polypropylene because they are durable materials that will stand up well to foot traffic. Commercial carpeting doesn’t need to be bland and dull, carpeting can be formulated to provide color and texture to your retail space.
The type of carpet you select will depend on what you’re using the space for, and how much foot traffic the area is exposed to.
In some cases, the current floor may be encapsulated to avoid plasticizer migration. If there is any damage we will repair the surface by filling the damaged substrate.
Before laying down the carpet of your choice, the subfloor will need to be prepared. The floor must be cleaned and any debris such as staples, or nails must be removed. The team will use a scraper to level; the subflooring. The floor will then be cleaned again. During this process, the molding and trim will be removed around the edges of the room.
Any furniture will be professionally raised, electronics disconnected, and desks lifted by our experts, to ensure the area will be completed and ready to use the next morning. Installations are carried out overnight or during off-hours for minimal disruptions.
